Multitouch is a new type of interaction with a computer.

A multitouch system makes other entry devices like mice or keyboards unnecessary. Applications can be controlled by finger on the screen, similar to using a normal Touchscreen but with much more versatility. 

Pictures and images can for example be rotated, moved and enlarged by hand.

The main attraction however is that various actions can be made simultaneously. It is like if several PC- Mice carried out different tasks all at the same time.

Applications can be found in Digital Signage and Game sector applications.
For example in museums Multitouch could be used in Information tables and stands allowing several Visitors to simultaneously access the information portal.
