The TFT Displays from Mitsubishi were developed for industrial applications where high reliability, large temperature range support and long product life (availability) was required.
Through their scalability the TFTs are especially design friendly:
Thanks to their Low reflection and High brightness (800-1500 cd/m²) specifications, they are superb for use outside or in any other strongly lit locations.
Particular attention was taken in their design to make all connectors within the same product range compatible: simple migration from 8.4“ to 10.4“ or from SVGA to XGA is possible as the display cable is the same. The colour depth is the industry standard 18 or 24 Bit.

Noticeable are the displays in 16:9 Wide format that, thanks to the similar display height, fits into the same frame for the high as the 4:3 equivilant. Some displays are available with touchscreens (ex-works). The integrated display technology is either TN+ Wide view film or licensed IPS technology. Certain patented technology allows good readbility in sun-light, improved colour rendition or short response times.
The TFT displays from Mitsubishi electric are especially well suited to industrial applications due to their high stability against shock and vibration and large temperature range support.
Various displays can be operated in temperatures ranging from -20°C up to +70°C, the majority of the displays are even specified for temperatures ranging from -30°C bis +80°C.
The product availability of the TFT displays or their compatible successor is five years.
HY-LINE Computer components delivers the respective display in a kit with controller, LED Backlight control, touchscreen, OSD and cable pack.
