TFT Displays can be accessed either via the LCD interface of the single board computer or via an interconnected controller board that converts the VGA,Video or DVI Signals to virtually  any video source for operation.

While office hardware operates in moderate temperatures from 0 to 40 or 50°c, much more is demanded from hardware in industrial applications.

The operation terminal on a machine in a hot factory work room or one situated outside in winter must be able to operate in temperatures ranging from –30 up to 85°c.
